Born in Bannur, T Narsipur taluk, Mysore district, Sarah Fathima comes from a humble yet determined background. She is the daughter of late Mukthar Ahmed and Munawar Sultana.
Her educational journey began at Lions Club School in Bannur, after which she moved to Mysore to pursue her PUC at JSS College, Saraswathipuram. She later completed her BBM in Marketing from Vidya Vardhaka College, Mysore, proving her academic excellence before stepping into law enforcement.
Sarah Fathima’s decision to join the police force was largely inspired by her uncle, Syed Ulfath Hussain, who serves as the DIG (Recruitment and Training) in Bangalore.
